ACTIVE TARGET 2 BY LOWRANCE
I have added Active Target 2 by Lowrance this season to the 522d. Forward facing sonar can add to your on the water experience by giving you real time viewing of fish up to 100ft from your boat. Active Target can also help you figure out the mood of the fish in deeper water quickly. Active Target also helps you break the code for baits and specific colors fish are attracted to that day! Active Target can also engage younger anglers more than just waiting for a bite, they will see the bait and the fish !
BASS TWILIGHT TRIPS
Last season was the first time offering twilight trips to customers. These trips can provide spectacular fishing! starting in mid July i will be offering trips from 6pm to dusk. Generally cooler weather, less boat traffic, less pressured and generally more active fish . Great for budget friendly anglers and people wanting to get out for a few hours after work or a creative date with that special someone. Maximum 2 anglers for $350.00 the cost of a twilight trip.
Kids Trips
I will be offering trips with kids under 17 this season ,accompanied by an adult at a discounted rate of $500 dollars for a half day. I want to continue to see the dads, moms, grandfathers, and grandmothers get kids on the water and catch fish. Last season was extremely rewarding seeing the happy faces on families getting together on board!
Tournaments this season
As of right now, my wife and I will be fishing in the Canadian Tire Mitchells Bay Open July 11th and 12th. I will be prefishing the week of the 5th and not taking guided trips that week. We always look forward to the challenge of fishing 2 days against some of the worlds top bass anglers on Lake St.Clair. Come out and cheer us on at the weigh in stage at Mitchells Bay marine park .
October Smallmouth fishing!
Last October the smallmouth fishing was off the charts for lots of fish and big fish! If you are looking for your biggest fish of the season this is the month to do it! Whether you are a seasoned angler with lots of fish under your belt or a novice looking for a fun day , I look forward to getting you on fish! Book ahead early to pick prime dates for this spectacular time of the season.

Gear and Baits
As most of you know i am always trying to think of new ways to entice bites for my clients. I am still using top quality rods reels, line and baits to get them to bite. The newest Japanese trend of baits for bass is hot this year , and i experimented with some last fall with great success! Come out and see what is working !
Jigging hair and Blades is a great way to entice finicky walleye into biting. Lake St Clair in May and June can offer a fun day catching Jumbo Perch and Walleye on hair jigs and Blades with a few tricks up my sleeve to boot! Book ahead for the preferred dates.
